Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (recommended: Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
Guanylate-binding proteins (GBPs) are interferon-induced GTP-binding proteins involved in innate immunity against microbial and viral pathogens.
Humans express seven GBPs (hGBP1–hGBP7). GBP1 and GBP2 exhibit antiviral activity and regulate endothelial cell proliferation and invasion in response to interferon.
GBP5 promotes selective NALP3 inflammasome responses to pathogenic bacteria and soluble, but not crystalline, inflammasome priming agents.
