TBR1은 T-box DNA 결합 도메인을 공유하는 보존된 유전자군의 구성원입니다. T-box 유전자는 발달 과정 조절에 관여하는 전사 인자를 암호화합니다. 유사 단백질이 생쥐에서 결손될 경우 초기 피질 발달에 중요하며, 후각망울과 후각피질의 투사 뉴런 손실을 유발합니다. C-말단 영역은 칼슘/칼모듈린 의존성 세린 단백질 키나아제의 구아닐레이트 키나아제 도메인과의 결합에 필요하고 충분한 것으로 밝혀졌습니다.
