Product Specific Information
- This antibody does not react with Rat.
- For immunohistochemistry (PFA fixed): incubate antibody for 30 min at room temperature.
- Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires heating tissue sections in 10 mM Tris Buffer with 1 mM EDTA (pH 9.0) for 45 min at 95°C, followed by cooling at room temperature for 20 min.
Target Information
CD57, also known as HNK-1 and Leu-7, is an oligosaccharide antigenic determinant found on various polypeptides, lipids, and chondroitin sulfate proteoglycans. Its function is poorly understood. CD57 is expressed on a subset of natural killer (NK) cells and NK T cells.
