CD57 (also known as HNK-1 and Leu-7) is an oligosaccharide antigenic determinant found on various polypeptides, lipids, and chondroitin sulfate proteoglycans. Although its function is not fully understood, CD57 is expressed on a subset of natural killer (NK) cells and NK T cells.
