Target Information
SDS 유전자는 세린과 글리신 대사에 관여하는 세 가지 효소 중 하나를 암호화합니다. L-serine dehydratase는 L-serine을 피루베이트와 암모니아로 전환하며, 피리독살 인산(pyridoxal phosphate)을 보조인자로 필요로 합니다. 이 단백질은 또한 트레오닌(threonine)을 NH₄⁺와 2-ketobutyrate로 대사할 수 있으며, 주로 간에서 발현됩니다.
