The monoclonal rat IgG2a, kappa is useful as an isotype control immunoglobulin.

Applications Reported:
This rat IgG2a isotype control has been reported for use in immunocytochemistry, immunohistochemistry, and flow cytometric analysis.

Applications Tested:
Pre-titrated and tested by flow cytometric analysis of normal human peripheral blood cells.

• Use 5 µL/test for catalog numbers ending in -41 or -42
• Use 20 µL/test for catalog numbers ending in -73
  Each test size contains 0.5 µg antibody.
  A test is defined as the amount (µg) of antibody that will stain a cell sample in a final volume of 100 µL.
  Cell number range: 10⁵–10⁸ cells/test (empirically determined).
  Careful titration recommended for optimal performance.

Optical Properties:

• Excitation: 488 nm
• Emission: 520 nm

Filtration: 0.2 µm post-manufacturing filtered.
