Target Information
Cytokeratin 19은 intermediate filament 단백질 하위군의 일원으로, 인간 상피 조직에서 최소 20종 이상의 다양한 폴리펩타이드로 구성된 생화학적 다양성을 특징으로 합니다. Cytokeratin은 분자량 40–68 kDa, 등전점 pH 4.9–7.8 범위를 가지며, 인간 cytokeratin은 1–20번으로 번호가 매겨집니다. 각 상피 조직은 고유한 cytokeratin 발현 패턴을 가지며, 이는 상피 유형과 분화 정도를 반영합니다. 이러한 패턴은 다양한 상피성 악성종양의 감별 진단에 활용되며, 면역조직화학, 세포병리학, 유세포분석 등에서 유용한 도구로 사용됩니다. 예를 들어, Cytokeratin 19는 간세포에서는 발현되지 않으므로, 간 전이암 식별에 유용합니다.
