Target Information
Adenylyl cyclase-associated protein 1 (CAP1) is an enzyme encoded by the CAP1 gene in humans, located on chromosome 1p34.2. It is related to the S. cerevisiae CAP protein involved in the cyclic AMP pathway. The human CAP1 protein interacts with itself, CAP2, and actin. Multiple alternatively spliced transcript variants have been identified.
