Target Information
CLK4 belongs to the CDC2-like protein kinase (CLK) family. This kinase interacts with and phosphorylates serine- and arginine-rich proteins, which play a key role in spliceosome formation and regulation of alternative splicing. Studies in Psammomys obesus (Israeli sand rat) suggest that ubiquitin-like 5 may interact with and regulate CLK4 activity.
