Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments using carrier-free antibody, perform an additional desalting step (e.g., Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
VSNL1 gene encodes a neuronal calcium sensor protein, part of the visinin/recoverin subfamily. It is highly expressed in cerebellar granule cells, associating with membranes in a calcium-dependent manner. The protein modulates intracellular signaling in the central nervous system by regulating adenylyl cyclase activity directly or indirectly.
Alternative splicing variants have been observed, though their full-length forms are not fully characterized.
