Target Information
PDLIM5 may play an important role in heart development by scaffolding PKC to the Z-disk region and regulating cardiomyocyte expansion. Overexpression promotes heart hypertrophy and contributes to dendritic spine morphogenesis in neurons, potentially restraining postsynaptic growth of excitatory synapses.
