For maximum recovery, please spin prior to use. Unless noted below, aliquots of the 5 µg, 10 µg, and 20 µg sizes of kinase are not recommended, as materials can be used in original packaging until exhausted.
For larger sizes, the number of freeze/thaws may be reduced by preparing aliquots; aliquots below 20 µL are not recommended.

Target Information

BRAF acts upstream of MEK in the MAP kinase pathway and is involved in cell division, differentiation, and secretion.
The BRAF mutant V599E is oncogenic and found in a variety of cancers.
Mutations in BRAF (V599E Mutant) have been associated with non-Hodgkin lymphoma, colorectal cancer, malignant melanoma, thyroid carcinoma, non-small cell lung carcinoma, and adenocarcinoma of the lung.
A pseudogene located on chromosome X has been identified for BRAF (V599E Mutant).
