Cytokeratin pan은 상피조직에서 다양하게 발현되는 중간 필라멘트 단백질의 한 아형으로, 인간 상피조직에서 최소 20가지 이상의 폴리펩타이드로 구성됩니다. Cytokeratin은 40–68 kDa의 분자량과 4.9–7.8의 등전점 범위를 가지며, 상피세포의 유형과 분화 정도에 따라 발현 패턴이 달라집니다. 이러한 발현 패턴은 다양한 상피성 암종을 구분하는 데 유용하며, 종양 진단, 세포병리학, 유세포 분석 등에 활용됩니다. Keratin은 암 연구 및 종양 진단에서 중요한 마커로 널리 사용됩니다.
