Target Information
Anti-human Polynucleotide Kinase (PNK) Polyclonal Antibody recognizes PNK, a 57 kDa nuclear enzyme involved in DNA strand repair during replication and recombination or in response to DNA damage. PNK phosphorylates and dephosphorylates DNA termini (5′-hydroxy and 3′-phosphate). It associates with other nuclear proteins to prepare DNA ends for DNA polymerase-beta and DNA ligase III, playing a key role in maintaining genomic stability.
