Product Specific Information
- Immunohistochemistry (PFA fixed): Incubate antibody for 30 minutes at room temperature.
- Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires heating tissue sections in 10 mM Tris with 1 mM EDTA (pH 9.0) for 45 minutes at 95°C, followed by cooling at room temperature for 20 minutes.
Target Information
CD45RB is a receptor-type protein tyrosine phosphatase, part of the CD45 glycoprotein family.
CD45 plays a critical role in lymphocyte development and antigen signaling, regulating Src-family kinases and promoting cell survival via integrin-mediated pathways.
It is also involved in DNA fragmentation during apoptosis.
CD45 isoforms differ in their extracellular domains but share identical transmembrane and cytoplasmic domains.
Their expression varies by cell type and physiological state.
CD45RB is expressed in microglia and inflammatory cells and is essential in immunoreceptor signaling and hematopoietic cell survival.
CD45 is expressed on cells of the human hematopoietic lineage except mature red blood cells.
