Target Information
Glutamate는 뇌에서 주요 흥분성 신경전달물질로, NMDA, AMPA, kainate 수용체를 통해 빠른 흥분성 시냅스 전달에 관여합니다. 최근 연구에서는 G-단백질 결합 수용체를 통해 효소 및 2차 신호전달체 생성을 조절하는 metabotropic glutamate receptor(mGluR)가 확인되었습니다.
Group-I 수용체(mGluR1a, mGluR5)는 phospholipase C를 자극하여 phosphoinositide turnover와 세포 내 칼슘 방출을 증가시키며, Group-II 및 Group-III 수용체(mGluR2, mGluR3 등)는 adenylyl cyclase 억제에 관여합니다.
