This peptide corresponds to an 18 amino acid sequence near the amino terminus of human ZHANGFEI (CREBZF).
PEP-1220 can be used as a blocking peptide with the polyclonal antibody PA5-21106.
Target Information
CREBZF strongly activates transcription when bound to HCFC1 and suppresses the expression of HSV proteins in infected cells in an HCFC1-dependent manner.
It also inhibits HCFC1-dependent transcriptional activation by CREB3 and reduces cellular CREB3 levels, leading to down-regulation of some genes in CREBZF-expressing cells.
