Target Information
Anti-Human secondary antibodies are affinity-purified with well-characterized specificity for human immunoglobulins. They are useful for detection, sorting, or purification of target proteins.
Secondary antibodies enhance versatility by enabling multiple detection systems (HRP, AP, fluorescence) and increase sensitivity through signal amplification, as multiple secondary antibodies can bind to a single primary antibody.
Typically, secondary antibodies are generated by immunizing the host animal with pooled immunoglobulins from the target species, followed by purification and modification (e.g., immunoaffinity chromatography, antibody fragmentation, label conjugation) to produce highly specific reagents.
