MARCH2는 막 결합형 E3 유비퀴틴 리가아제(MARCH) 패밀리에 속하며, 표적 단백질의 리신 잔기에 유비퀴틴을 추가하여 막 구획 간 소포 수송을 조절합니다.
MARCH2는 여러 당단백질의 세포 표면 축적을 감소시키며, 초기 엔도솜에서 trans-Golgi network(TGN)로의 수송을 조절하는 것으로 알려져 있습니다.
