Target Information

Anti-Human secondary antibodies are affinity-purified and exhibit well-characterized specificity for human immunoglobulins. They are valuable for detection, sorting, or purification of specific targets. Secondary antibodies enhance versatility by enabling multiple detection systems such as HRP, AP, or fluorescence. They also provide greater sensitivity through signal amplification, as multiple secondary antibodies can bind to a single primary antibody. Typically, secondary antibodies are generated by immunizing the host animal with pooled immunoglobulins from the target species, followed by purification and modification (e.g., immunoaffinity chromatography, fragmentation, conjugation) to produce highly specific reagents.
