Target Information
This gene encodes a member of the RRM family of RNA-binding proteins. The RRM domain is 80–100 amino acids in length, containing conserved sequences RNP1 and RNP2 with hydrophobic residues. The encoded protein has a single RRM domain in its N-terminus, and alternative splicing generates multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms.
