Target Information
Slug (SNAI2)은 C2H2형 zinc finger 전사인자 패밀리인 Snail family의 구성원으로, 상피-중간엽 전이(EMT) 및 신경관 형성과 관련이 있습니다. FGF, BMP, TGF-β 등의 성장인자에 의해 발현이 유도되며, E-box 영역에 결합하여 E-cadherin 및 Claudin-1 유전자의 전사를 억제합니다. 유방암, 식도암, 대장암 등에서 높은 발현이 예후 불량과 연관되어 있으며, 또한 p53 매개 Puma 전사 억제를 통해 조혈 전구세포를 방사선 유도 세포사멸로부터 보호할 수 있습니다.
