M6PR (mannose-6-phosphate receptor)는 lysosomal enzyme의 mannose-6-phosphate group을 인식하는 수용체입니다. 이 수용체는 homodimer 또는 homotetramer 형태로 존재하며, 세포 내 lysosomal enzyme의 타깃팅 및 새로 합성된 lysosomal enzyme의 세포 분비를 조절합니다.
M6PR은 trans-Golgi reticulum, endosome, 및 plasma membrane에 위치하는 integral membrane protein입니다.
