Target Information
PDE2A (phosphodiesterase 2A)는 100 kDa 크기의 cyclic nucleotide phosphodiesterase (PDE)로, PDE2A1, PDE2A2, PDE2A3의 세 가지 isoform이 알려져 있습니다. 이들은 하나의 유전자로부터 alternative splicing을 통해 생성됩니다. PDE2A는 cAMP와 cGMP를 모두 분해할 수 있으나, cGMP를 더 효율적으로 분해합니다. 뇌를 포함한 다양한 조직에서 발현되며 특히 소뇌와 신피질에 집중적으로 존재합니다. PDE2A는 발기부전 및 내피세포 장벽을 통한 체액 및 염증세포 이동 조절과 관련이 있습니다.
