Target Information
Nucleoside diphosphate kinase B is an enzyme encoded by the NME2 gene in humans. It exists as a hexamer composed of A (encoded by NME1) and B (encoded by NME2) isoforms. Multiple alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding the same isoform have been identified. Co-transcription of NME1 and NME2 generates naturally occurring fusion transcripts encoding a hybrid protein sharing sequences from both genes.
