Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
TYW2 (also known as TRM12) is an enzyme involved in the wybutosine-tRNA (Phe) biosynthesis pathway.
Wybutosine (yW) is a hypermodified guanosine located at the 3′ position adjacent to the anticodon of phenylalanine tRNA, stabilizing codon-anticodon interactions during ribosomal decoding.
TYW2 participates in multistep enzymatic reactions ensuring correct translation and has been found amplified in several breast cancer cell lines. qPCR analysis of breast tumors showed overexpression (>2-fold) in 26 of 30 samples, suggesting a potential role in breast cancer development.
