For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (recommended: Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

Ki-67 is a nuclear protein expressed during various stages of the cell cycle, particularly in late G1, S, G2, and M phases. It associates with euchromatin, centromeric heterochromatin, and the nucleolus via its forkhead-associated (FHA) domain.
Ki-67 displays cell cycle–dependent localization: perinucleolar in G1, nuclear matrix in G2, and chromosome-associated during M phase.
It serves as a proliferation marker, absent in G0 cells but increasing from G1 through mitosis.
Ki-67 antibodies are widely used to determine the cell growth fraction in neoplasms, with prognostic value comparable to thymidine-labelling index.
Lower Ki-67 index correlates strongly with histologically low-grade tumors.
Routinely used as a neuronal marker for cell cycling and proliferation.
