Product Specific Information
The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen. The purity is greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Target Information
Dihydrouridine synthase catalyzes the reduction of the 5,6-double bond of a uridine residue on the displacement loop of tRNA. The modified base, 5,6-dihydrouridine, increases the conformational flexibility and dynamic motion of tRNA (Kato et al., 2005 [PubMed 15994936]).
