- In direct ELISAs, less than 3% cross-reactivity with recombinant mouse Gastrokine 1 is observed.

Target Information
Gastrokine 1 (GKN1, also known as CA11) is a 185 amino acid secreted protein belonging to the gastrokine family, characterized by a BRICHOS domain and an asn-rich region.
GKN1 is reported to be down-regulated in human gastric cancer tissue compared to normal gastric mucosa. It is predominantly expressed in the stomach and co-secreted with mucins, functioning as a signaling growth factor with mitogenic activity that may help maintain gastric mucosal integrity.
