Product Specific Information
- In sandwich ELISAs, approximately 15% cross-reactivity with recombinant human (rh) Jagged1 is observed.
- Less than 0.3% cross-reactivity with rhJagged2 and recombinant mouse Jagged2.
- Reconstitute at 0.2 mg/mL in sterile PBS.
- Endotoxin level is <0.10 EU per 1 µg of the antibody by the LAL method.
Target Information
The Jagged1 protein encoded by JAG1 is the human homolog of the Drosophila jagged protein.
Human Jagged1 acts as a ligand for the receptor Notch1, a human homolog of the Drosophila Notch receptor.
Mutations in Jagged1 cause Alagille syndrome.
Jagged1–Notch1 signaling is also involved in hematopoiesis.
