- In direct ELISAs, less than 20% cross-reactivity with recombinant human (rh) Proprotein Convertase 9 is observed.
- Less than 1% cross-reactivity with rhProprotein Convertase 1 and rhProprotein Convertase 7 is observed.
- Reconstitute at 0.2 mg/mL in sterile PBS.
Target Information
PCSK9 is a proprotein convertase belonging to the proteinase K subfamily of the secretory subtilase family.
It is synthesized as a soluble zymogen that undergoes autocatalytic intramolecular processing in the endoplasmic reticulum.
PCSK9 plays a role in cholesterol homeostasis and may be involved in the differentiation of cortical neurons.
