Target Information
AFP (Alpha Fetoprotein)은 태아기 동안 난황낭, 장, 간에서 생성되는 주요 혈장 단백질입니다. 성인에서 AFP 발현은 간세포암종(HCC) 또는 기형종과 관련될 수 있으며, 일부에서는 병리적 이상 없이 지속적으로 발현되기도 합니다. AFP는 알부민의 태아형 단백질로 간주되며, 두 유전자는 염색체 4에서 동일한 전사 방향으로 인접해 있습니다. 단량체, 이량체, 삼량체 형태로 존재하며, 구리, 니켈, 지방산, 빌리루빈과 결합할 수 있습니다. 양수 내 AFP 농도는 척추이분증 및 무뇌증의 선별 검사에 사용되며, 혈청 AFP 수치 상승은 간암, 기형종, 대장암, 췌장암, 생식세포종양 등에서 관찰됩니다.
