Description:
The monoclonal antibody 20C2 reacts with the heterodimeric form of IL-12 called p70 (also referred to as p75). IL-12 consists of two covalently linked subunits, p35 and p40, forming a 75 kDa protein. It is primarily secreted by activated monocytes, macrophages, and dendritic cells. IL-12 induces IFN-γ production and plays a key role in Th cell development. The 20C2 antibody neutralizes the intact IL-12p70 complex but not individual subunits.

Target Information

IL-12 p70 (Interleukin-12):
