Target Information
Carboxypeptidase A1 (CPA1)은 419개의 아미노산으로 구성된 분비성 단백질로, 주로 췌장에서 높은 수준으로 발현됩니다.
이 단백질은 아연을 보조 인자로 사용하는 췌장 외펩티다아제로서 다양한 단백질의 C-말단 아미노산을 절단하여 단백질 소화 및 분해에 핵심적인 역할을 합니다.
CPA1은 또한 효소 활성화 경로를 차단하는 전구효소 억제에 관여할 수 있으며, 비정상적인 CPA1 발현은 췌장암과 관련이 있는 것으로 알려져 있습니다.
