Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. The expression systems are developed by cloning the specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits, followed by screening of individual clones to select optimal candidates for production.

Target Information
Influenza viruses consist of three types (A, B, and C), which make up three of the five genera in the Orthomyxoviridae family. Commonly known as the flu, influenza strains can infect both birds and mammals. The virus forms roughly spherical particles with a viral envelope containing two major glycoproteins (hemagglutinin and neuraminidase) surrounding the central RNA genome and associated proteins.
Unlike many viruses, the influenza genome is segmented into seven to eight fragments of negative-sense RNA, each encoding different viral proteins. Influenza spreads seasonally, causing approximately 3–5 million severe cases and 250,000–500,000 deaths annually, with higher numbers during pandemics.
