Target Information

HOPX는 DNA에 직접 결합하지 않는 비정형 홈도메인 단백질로, 심장 성장과 발달을 조절하는 데 필수적입니다. HOPX는 SRF와의 상호작용을 통해 SRF 의존적 심장 특이 유전자 발현과 발달을 조절합니다. 또한 HOPX는 SRF의 DNA 결합을 억제하거나 히스톤 탈아세틸화 효소(HDAC)를 모집하여 SRF에 의한 전사를 억제함으로써 작용합니다. HOPX의 과발현은 심근비대증을 유발할 수 있으며, 종양 억제 인자로 작용할 수 있습니다.
