Target Information

Members of this family are membrane-anchored proteins structurally related to snake venom disintegrins and are involved in various biological processes, including cell–cell and cell–matrix interactions, fertilization, muscle development, and neurogenesis.
ADAM19 is a type I transmembrane protein that serves as a marker for dendritic cell differentiation and functions as an active metalloproteinase, participating in physiological and pathological processes such as cell migration, adhesion, and signal transduction.
