Target Information
IRS-1는 인슐린 수용체의 주요 기질로, 인슐린, IGF-1, IL-4 자극에 의해 인산화됩니다. 다양한 조직에서 serine, threonine, tyrosine 잔기에서 인산화가 일어나며, casein kinase II가 IRS-1의 serine/threonine 인산화를 매개합니다. Thr502는 주요 인산화 부위로 알려져 있으며, Ser99 또한 casein kinase II에 의해 인산화됩니다. IRS-1은 14-3-3 단백질 결합 부위를 세 곳(Ser270, Ser374, Ser641)에 가지며, Ser270 주변 모티프는 인슐린 수용체와의 상호작용에 중요한 phosphotyrosine binding domain에 위치합니다.
