Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL (Product #89882) for optimal results.
Target Information
S100A9 (also known as MRP-14) belongs to the S100 family of proteins containing two EF-hand calcium-binding motifs. These proteins are found in the cytoplasm and/or nucleus of various cell types and are involved in regulating cellular processes such as cell cycle progression and differentiation.
S100 genes include at least 13 members clustered on chromosome 1q21. S100A9 may inhibit casein kinase activity, and altered expression has been associated with cystic fibrosis.
