Target Information
SARS-CoV-2 Nucleocapsid Protein is associated with nucleic acid and is the most abundant protein in coronavirus. Due to its strong immunogenicity, the Nucleocapsid Protein has potential diagnostic value. It is an RNA-binding protein critical for viral genome packaging, containing dynamic disordered regions with transiently-helical binding motifs. The two folded domains interact minimally, making the full-length N protein flexible and multivalent. SARS-CoV-2 causes illnesses ranging from the common cold to severe diseases.
