Target Information
Dystrophin은 X 염색체 Xp21 위치에 존재하는 DMB/BMD 유전자의 427 kDa 단백질 산물입니다. 근육 생검에서 dystrophin 발현의 이상을 검출하기 위해 Western blotting과 immunohistochemistry가 널리 사용됩니다. DMD/BMD 환자에서는 거의 모든 사례에서 dystrophin 이상이 관찰되며, 유전적 이상은 약 65%의 경우에서만 검출됩니다.
