Target Information
Neurotrophic factors regulate the survival, differentiation, and maintenance of neurons in both peripheral and central nervous systems, as well as other neural crest-derived cell types. Developing sympathetic neurons are dependent on nerve growth factor (NGF) during target competition in vivo. Antibodies specific to NGFR p75 are valuable tools for detecting and characterizing NGFR p75, contributing to the study of neuronal development, plasticity, and repair.
