Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments using this carrier-free antibody, an additional desalting step is recommended.

Target Information
The proteasome is a multicatalytic proteinase complex with a highly ordered 20S core structure composed of four rings of 28 non-identical subunits. Two rings contain seven alpha subunits and two rings contain seven beta subunits.
Proteasomes are abundant in eukaryotic cells and cleave peptides in an ATP/ubiquitin-dependent, non-lysosomal pathway.
The immunoproteasome variant plays a key role in processing class I MHC peptides.
The PSMA6 gene encodes a 20S core alpha subunit belonging to the peptidase T1A family. A pseudogene has been identified on the Y chromosome.
