Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, it is recommended to perform an additional desalting step (e.g., using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
The proteasome is a multicatalytic proteinase complex with a highly ordered ring-shaped 20S core structure composed of four rings of 28 non-identical subunits (two alpha rings and two beta rings). Proteasomes are abundant in eukaryotic cells and function in ATP/ubiquitin-dependent peptide cleavage in a non-lysosomal pathway.
The immunoproteasome variant is essential for processing class I MHC peptides.
The PSMA6 gene encodes a 20S core alpha subunit of the peptidase T1A family. A pseudogene is located on the Y chromosome.
