Target Information
PLXNA4 is a protein-coding gene and acts as a coreceptor for SEMA3A. It is essential for signaling by class 3 semaphorins and contributes to cytoskeletal remodeling. This protein plays a key role in axon guidance during nervous system development. Class 3 semaphorins bind to a complex of neuropilin and plexin, where the plexin modulates affinity and activates downstream signaling events.
