Target Information
RRP4는 RNA exosome 복합체의 비촉매성 구성 요소로, 3’→5’ exoribonuclease 활성을 가진 RNA 분해 및 가공 과정에 관여합니다.
핵 내에서는 rRNA, snRNA, snoRNA 등의 안정적 RNA 성숙과 비암호화 RNA 제거에 관여하며, 비정상적 mRNA의 세포질 수출을 방지합니다.
세포질에서는 AU-rich element(ARE)를 포함한 불안정 mRNA의 분해 및 RNA 감시 경로에 관여합니다.
EXOSC2는 Exo-9 복합체의 주변부 단백질로, RNase PH-domain 소단위체의 안정화에 기여합니다.
