TTLL12 (tubulin tyrosine ligase-like family, member 12)은 644개의 아미노산으로 구성된 단백질로 하나의 TTL 도메인을 포함합니다. TTLL 패밀리의 14개 구성원 중 TTLL12는 가장 덜 특성화된 단백질로, 전이성 전립선암 세포주에서 높은 발현을 보입니다. 따라서 종양 치료 표적으로 고려되며, TTLL12의 과발현은 염색체 배수성(ploidy)에 영향을 미치고, 발현 저하는 튜불린의 여러 번역 후 수정(post-translational modification)에 관여합니다.
