ACTR1A 유전자는 42.6 kD 크기의 다이낵틴 복합체 하위 단위를 암호화합니다. 다이낵틴은 10~11개의 서브유닛으로 구성된 거대 분자로, 미세소관 및 세포질 다이닌과 결합하여 ER-Golgi 수송, 리소좀 및 엔도좀의 중심 이동, 방추체 형성, 염색체 이동, 핵 위치 결정, 축삭 형성 등 다양한 세포 기능에 관여합니다. 이 서브유닛은 다이낵틴 분자당 8~13개 존재하며 가장 풍부한 구성 요소입니다. 이는 액틴 관련 단백질로, 일반 액틴과 약 60%의 아미노산 수준 동일성을 가집니다.
