Target Information
CD70 is a cytokine belonging to the tumor necrosis factor (TNF) ligand family and acts as a ligand for TNFRSF27/CD27. It is expressed on activated T and B lymphocytes, but not on resting cells. CD70 promotes proliferation of costimulated T cells, enhances cytolytic T cell generation, and contributes to T cell activation. It also plays roles in regulating B-cell activation, NK cell cytotoxic function, and immunoglobulin synthesis.
