Target Information
MESDC2는 저밀도 지질단백질 수용체(LDLR) 계열 내 베타-프로펠러/EGF 모듈의 접힘을 돕는 샤페론으로 작용합니다. Wnt 경로의 조절자로서 LRP5 및 LRP6의 세포막 이동을 돕습니다. 배아 극성 및 중배엽 유도에 필수적이며, LRP4의 세포 표면 발현을 촉진하여 신경근 접합부(NMJ) 형성에 중요한 역할을 합니다. 또한 망막 색소상피(RPE) 세포의 세포사멸 후 식세포 작용을 조절할 수 있습니다.
